7-17-35 | REFUSING TO WORK. The foreman told this man to shake out some clothes, which he refused to do. I asked him what was the matter and he said, "I did my job, and I am not going to do any more." When asked if he refused to do it he said, "Yes sir, I do Report by Guard-Steere. 10-30-35 | SUSPECT IN CONTRABAND MONEY CONSPIRACY. $25 was found by Mr. Faulk in the Laundry truck on elevator; information was that this inmate was sending it to #67-Montgomery. Young admits sending the money to Montgomery, who sent word to him to send it up. He said that it is the only money he seen or handled and he does not know where Montgomery got it. Report by C.J. 1-26-36 | JOINING IN STRIKE, SUSPECTED OF SABOTAGE. Having been reported by Jr. Officer Dixon as having dumped 400 lbs of vegetables in the vegetable room of the kitchen basement, before walking out on the strike, he was immediately placed in open solitary "D" Block, in a day or two later confessed dumping the vegetables.
