1-24-36 Begged to be permitted to return to work and it was at this time that he admitted that he dumped the vegetables out of the vegetable room, before going out on strike. Told him that I would consider his case later. C.J. Shuttleworth, Deputy Warden.
1-25-36 Said that he was sure he would behave himself in the future and was ready to take any punishment that might be dealt to him. Action: Returned to work with all privileges forfeited and with understanding that further disciplinary action might be taken later. C.J. Shuttleworth, Deputy Warden.
2-28-36 All privileges except yard, restored this date.
3-5-36 ALL PRIVILEGES ARE RESTORED, EFFECTIVE THIS DATE. E.J. Shuttleworth, Deputy.
4-5-36 FIGHTING WITH DAVIS-#271. At approximately 10 o'clock this A.M., while in the recreation yard, this prisoner was engaged in fist fight with inmate #271. Fight was the result of an argument in regard to decision rendered by the empire. Report by W.V. Couchenour, Jr. Officer. Action: Both said that they were to blame and were over anxious to see their teams win, they had no ill feeling against each other and were sorry that they temporarilly lost their heads. 7-8-36 WASTING FOOD. This prisoner left a fairly large portion of meat at the evening meal this date. I asked him, what was wrong with the meat and he replied, "Nothing" I then asked him if he intended to eat it and he said, "No, I don't want it." Report by R. Dennison, Jr. Officer. 9-6-36 CONTRABND IN CELL. When I was inspecting this prisoner's cell this morning, I found two pairs of non-issue socks. Evidence submitted. Report by C.C. Mickelson, Jr. Officer. Action: These were army socks, taken out of the laundry; to forfeit all privileges for two weeks, E.J. Miller, Deputy Warden
9-21-36 REFUSING TO CARRY OUT ORDERS. During the morning meal today, this man deliberately ignored my order to pass his empty cup to the end of the table. Twice this order was give twice and he ignored it. There was no reason for misunderstanding as to whom I meant as I called him by name when giving the order. Report #2506, F. Mach, Jr. Officer. Action: Said that he did not hear Mr. Mach. Reprimanded and Warned. C.J. Shuttleworth, Deputy Warden.
3-5-37 WASTING FOOD. This inmate failed to eat any of his salad at the evening meal this date. Young failed to register any complaint during the meal and when questioned concerning the meal (Salad which he was leaving) he replied "It's not fit to eat." He was the only inmate on my table, however, who failed to eat the salad. Report #1371, R. Dennison, Jr. Officer. Action: To forfeit breakfast, 3/6/37. E.J. Miller, Deputy Warden.
