I understand that there's a lot of stuff like the Bloggercode decoder. No self-respecting blogger, IMHO, would put this on her or his personal page, but if you lack self-respect, you can get a piece of code that looks like this:

Weather on Your Blog

So you want people to know just how miserable you are? The Weather Channel offers free weather information to any site willing to sign up. The information is available for nearly any location on the planet, including Antarctica.

You have three options. First, you can display your local weather as a "weather magnet":

Enter a City or US Zip:

Or you can package the same information (with additional links to weather maps and current forecasts) as a link.

Finally, you can set a simple weather logo where your visitors can enter their zip code or city name for more information. You can see this on the Weather on Your Web Site homepage.

Sneaking into Trackback Discussions

From the Moveable Type website:

Imagine that you write about a movie you just saw in an entry on your Movable Type-powered blog. Another MT blogger reads your entry, and wants to write an entry referencing your original post. He could just comment on your blog, but he'd like to keep the post in his own database and host it on his site.

The trouble is that those of us who use Blogger or another program other than Moveable Type don't have the built-in resource for participating in Trackback discussions. Ganesha has solved this problem by incorporating a Javascript wizard that allows you to send pings to sites that use trackback.

100 Facts

If you are looking for a nice-sized project to put on your blog, try making a list of 100 facts about yourself. The object is not only to present to the world a capsule portrait of who you are, but to do it well. Facts can range from the usuals such as your weight and your astrological sign (mine is none of your business!) to unusuals like what you like to do when you get up in the morning or the color of the dress you wore to your Senior prom. The point is to have fun. You don't have to complete this project in one day. When I did it, I set up a file on my laptop and added things until I came up with the even 100.

Ganesha isn't sure just why he gave in to the impulse to add this doohickey to his web page or what had come over his friends who thought it would make a cool addition to their pages. According to the developers:
